DR. RAE VARUGHESE

Certified Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry

Born and raised right here in Edmonton, Dr. Varughese graduated from dental school from the University of Alberta in 2010. She completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. She then completed a Master of Science degree with a specialization in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Toronto. Her thesis was based on the types of materials and procedures used to treat healthy, medically compromised, and developmentally delayed children in Canada and the US. After completing her residency, Dr. Varughese practiced in both private practice and at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital treating children with dental anxiety and/or complex medical needs as well as providing dental treatment under general anaesthesia.
